Mary Czerwinski - Televixen
Written by Administrator

Mary - TelevixenAs a latchkey kid growing up on the north side of Chicago, Mary Czerwinski was practically raised in front of the TV. Today she's armed with a degree in journalism from Roosevelt University and a quick remote control finger. She uses her background to write product reviews for national consumer and trade magazines. Mary has also hosted a DVD on the paranormal and co-authored a book on haunted places. Mary feels that DVDs are a great way to breathe new life into TV shows such as "Twin Peaks," "Firefly" and "My So-Called Life" that were so wrongfully cancelled. She promises never to feature any "Friends" or "Sex in the City" box sets in her segment. Televixen's MySpace

Rory Jobst
Written by Administrator

RoryRory Jobst has been a film geek ever since infancy when his mother, a projectionist, took him to work with her. He has been doing an annual "Top Ten" list since he was 12 years old and continues to publish them on his blog at rottentomatoes.com. Thursday mornings he can be heard reviewing movies on Bulldog's Rude Awakening, a radio show out of Ocean City, MD. When not blowing his paycheck on movies, Rory is an actor/playwright/dog-sitter and aspiring screenwriter. He hopes to record his own audio commentary one day.

Matt Russell

MattMatt Russell, in his teenage years, was bitten by a radioactive spider and found that he had special powers--like fixing his parents' T.V. set and setting the clock on the microwave, oven AND VCR within 3 minutes WITHOUT instructions. Matt's unusual gift of being a technopsychic has helped save his DVD viewing life on numerous occasions. Matt's own home-entertainment center is classified by the government but lets just say it rivals NASA's latest technological advances. Optical output, HDMI interface, 16:9 viewing is a must for Matt. Yet due to all of these investments into the latest technology it has rendered Matt without transportation. I needed a car but wanted a computer.

She loves her fellow Geeks, she hates DVD commentaries, and she can't wait for her first million dollars so she can buy the complete series of Matlock, Murder She Wrote and Diagnosis Murder on DVD. And McMillan and Wife. And Magnum PI.

Tom Seymour
Written by Administrator

TomTom Seymour was raised on the mean streets of Chicago's northern suburbs. He grew up on a steady diet of Jolt Cola, "Star Wars" figures, whiskey and movies. Tom's father was one of the first people on the block to get a VCR. With that top-loading monster-machine Tom was exposed to only the greatest film epics of the late '70s like "Stripes," "The Blues Brothers," "Airplane" and "Superman." By high school, Tom was just another movie-quoting junkie, strung out on films like "The Terminator" and "Aliens." By college, he was a complete waste of human existence, uncontrollably spouting lines from any movie that passed before his eyes. These days, Tom is the manager of a comic-book store where his sickness goes generally unnoticed, but at night he brings hard-core vigilante justice to the city of Chicago wile drinking heavily.
